August 19 - 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. - The Lodge at Ironwoods in Leawood, KS. (6:30 VIP early access)

Join us August 19th to celebrate Growing Futures’ 51st Birthday and support local children and families in need. Enjoy unbelievably delicious summer fare by Scrape the Plate, browse fabulous silent auction items, try your luck at Heads or Tails, and be a part of the evening’s action as the Nigro Brothers call an exciting live auction.

Purchase General Entry Tickets for $51/person or be a VIP and purchase VIP Entry Tickets for $100/person  

All tickets include food and two bar/beverage tickets per person. VIP tickets include additional beverage tickets, Head or Tails entry, and 6:30 p.m. event entry. 21+ only please.

Growing Futures Early Education Center is excited to be one of this year's beneficiaries of Jazz in the Woods! This free, family friendly event held at Corporate Woods draws up to 25,000 people each year and will take place Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20, 2015.

On April 8th, Growing Futures Early Education Center held its 7th Annual Bright Futures Fundraising Luncheon. We truly appreciate the support of our mission and the 50 years of service we have provided to the community. With the help of our friends and supporters, this year's event raised over $85,000.00 for our programs for low-income children and their families.

Head Start of Shawnee Mission, Inc. will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with an updated brand and new name.

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – On January 7, community guests and public officials invited by the Northeast Johnson County Chamber of Commerce and Growing Futures Early Education Center, formerly Head Start of Shawnee Mission, will attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Overland Park-based early learning center.  During this ceremony, the organization will unveil its new name as well as kick-off a year-long celebration in support of the 50 years of service the center has provided to low-income children and families in Johnson County.
