There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on the world.
In an unprecedented year, where humanity has already endured so much, we hope that you and your family are doing well and remain safe and healthy this holiday season.
We also hope that you will consider supporting the 222 children and families Growing Futures serves that have been living at 100% of the federal poverty threshold in Johnson County, Kansas - prior to the pandemic. As you might imagine, COVID-19 has presented excruciating challenges for our already-struggling families. They rely on your support, now more than ever!
Together, with your contribution, we can continue to provide quality early education opportunities for the children in our community and family support services for their families. We can continue providing over 60,000 healthy and nutritious meals to children that often go without at home. We can continue providing health, dental and vision screenings for children, despite their insurance coverage. We can continue providing specialized programs, centered around children with mental health challenges, children with special needs and children who are in need of social services. Together, we can create a brighter future for our children.
The need for our services continues to rise, as our waitlist of 100 children has steadily increased. Unable to keep up with the demand of poverty in our community, our services currently support 7% of the 3,200 children (ages 0-5) in Johnson County that are living in poverty. We cannot work toward closing this gap without the generous support of our friends in the community, like yourself. This holiday season, please give our children the gift of education by making a monetary donation clicking the donate button above.
Our future and our children's future depends on it!
